July 1, 2007 - The Wichita Eagle publishes a new magazine called "Alive & Well".  NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers), as well as Pam McCutcheon, are in a feature story called "Conquer The Clutter - Organizing Your Home Can Slash Your Stress and Save Time".    "No matter how you slice it, mess equals stress, which can take a toll on your physical and emotional health.  "People need to feel in control of their life", said Pam McCutcheon, owner of The Clutter Cutter, a professional organizing business in Wichita.  "As clutter grows, they lose control and feel stressed.  They get depressed because they have no place to get away".

2/20/07 - The Clutter Cutter is on the front page of The Wichita Eagle, talking with Roy Wenzl about the GO Month project at the Wichita Children's Home.  "Over the years, Clutter Cutter has donated a lot of clothing, shoes and other goods to the Children's Home, which has given it to children.  Last year McCutcheon resolved to do something big. "This community allowed me to start a business, and I wanted to give something back," she said.  The neatness has lifted everybody's spirits.

• Hold a baking party.  Invite friends over, break out the cookie cutters and uncork a bottle of wine.  You'll instantly turn a holiday chore into a merry old time.
• Keep receipts from holiday gifts for making your budget for next year.

• Get the kids involved - little ones love to help.
• Scale back - you don't need to accept every invitation you're given!  It's okay to choose one or two events and savor them, instead of rushing through a dozen.
